At our English and Culture Café we have informal, themed discussion sessions where participants practice speaking about everyday topics (travel, hobbies, food, news, art, music, and social customs) in English. The focus is on speaking and listening in a friendly, supportive environment, learning about different cultures, and sharing ideas and experiences while improving fluency and confidence. You do not have to be fluent in English to join in. Anything from a basic B1 level upwards will be enough to participate. Kamishibai bedeutet wörtlich „Papier-Theater“ und ist eine traditionelle japanische Art des visuellen und interaktiven Geschichtenerzählens. In diesem Seminar werden wir Kamishibai als partizipative Lernmethode ausprobieren und zusammen auf Deutsch, Englisch und weiteren Fremd- und Herkunftssprachen erzählen. So erleben wir mehrsprachige Kamishibai-Erzählungen zusammen. Mit Kamishibai wollen wir in den Austausch über interkulturelle Erzählungen treten, Räume zum Dialog und Miterzählen öffnen und Mehrsprachigkeit wertschätzen. Wir reflektieren, wie verschiedene Sprachen in einer Geschichte gemeinsam wirken können und wollen eurer und Ihrer Sprachenvielfalt eine Stimme geben. Das Seminar richtet sich sowohl an Erwachsene, Jugendliche und Kinder, die an Storytelling interessiert sind, als auch an Sprachlernende und Sprachlehrende im Bereich Deutsch als Fremdsprache, Englisch, sowie weiteren Fremd- und Herkunftssprachen. 5 – 25 Teilnehmer*innen Um Anmeldung wird gebeten.
