If you feel confident when using English in everyday situations but not in a business context, then this course could help you close that gap. Improve your knowledge to include the skills you require for business in written and spoken English, e.g. business correspondence (writing letters, emails, memos, reports and CVs), telephoning, giving presentations, participating in meetings, small talk, discussing corporate structure, marketing and much more. There will also be a revision of tenses and grammatical structures. If you are not sure of your language level and/or need advice, please contact the vhs language advisory service (Sprachberatung). You can find the dates and times on our website under Anmeldung und Beratung / Sprachberatung. The textbook that will be used in the course will be announced on the first evening.

You will practice your oral and written communication skills in areas such as discussing ideas and projects, socialising and maintaining professional relationships, giving presentations, negotiating, cultural differences and etiquette.
